Why is Homosexuality Wrong?
So many people are opposed to the homosexual lifestyle. But exactly why is that particuar lifestyle considered wrong?

I’m against it soley because it’s unnatural. As time goes on, I find myself more and more opposed to anything Man does that God didn’t show him how to do. Anything that’s not… natural.
Consider this - every sin is merely perversion of the natural. Gluttony is the desire for food magnified above it’s natural place. Pornography and masterbation is the desire for sex magnified above it’s natural place or before it’s God-given time. Almost every sin is born from something natural that was twisted.
I consider homosexuality no different. A natural affinity a man has for other men and a natural repulsion of the strangeness of women and a natural desire for the comfort of the familiar and the natural sexual drive. Add it all up and twist it, and you have homosexuality. An unnatural desire for sex and compionship in fellow men rather than women.
But who’s to say that homosexuality is unnatural?

The burden of proof lies on you to prove deviant behavior as acceptable, not on us to defend a commonly held belief.
Oh be quiet… We all know you’re the one with all the time and brain power Andrew. Oh fine, I’ll try this.
What about the people who are born with homosexual tendencies? They have those feelings from birth! How is that not natural?
True, I believe that there are people that struggle with homosexuality from a young age, but that doesn’t make it any different than if a person struggled with pornography or adultery - the Bible clearly states that homosexuality is abhorrent to God.
Take Romans 1:26
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
And of course, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10not thieves not the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

That’s a pretty straightforward part of the bible saying that homosexuality is unnatural…
And as Thomas said, I’ve actually known people that had that tendency - simply didn’t find women attractive. Truth be told that occassionally happens to me when I grow apart from the Lord. Women just… freaking annoy me. Beautiful they may be, but my heart never get engaged by something my soul finds so distasteful and not worth the time.
But then again, we all have different tendencies and flaws. Some people are tempted into all kinds of different things.
Lastly, homosexuality is something you can be delievered from. I know a rather famous worship leader who was homosexual. Had a live-in partner, the whole nine yards. But he gave his life to the Lord and married a woman and now has like… 5 kids or something. If it’s natural and God-given, it’s not something God can “deliever” you from.
